Rocky Mountain National Park

There is something magical about snow - whenever I'm in a snowy environment I'm at my happiest. This was a beautifully sunny November day in Colorado and the water was freezing as it was running.

I've added a new photo gallery for snow...I'll add more as time goes on.

Newton Ferrers

Really wonderful location to go sailing. Anywhere that you have to use a dingy to get to the pub has to be good.

Irish Stones

I like the fact that the stones are masked almost by the water...this was in Southern Ireland in the middle of a bitter winter..

Disued railway line, County School

Penny and Ella had raced off into the distance so I decided to take a few pictures of the very English countryside. Who'd have thought that a railway line used to be under all this wild greenery?

Cley next the Sea, Norfolk

There is something about Norfolk that makes it very hard to take a bad picture...that or there are just too many photo opportunities. This bit of bent iron was just sitting there waiting for a camera. I've added some other photos to the Norfolk album (under photos).

Reed by the Railway Line

We have some of these reeds at home - they are very striking, even dried.

Turner Bristol

The light coming home was very strange and at 8 o'clock there was a sudden downpour outside. I grabbed my camera and ran up to the top floor window to take few pictures.

The sheen on the coloured houses was fabulous. I like the way that the old tobacco factories are lost in a romantic mist.

Then I went for the real Turner shot..
