Bikes in Amsterdam

IMG_0812.JPG, originally uploaded by nancy crisp.

Well - I can't believe it but I've finally learned to ride a bike and APGP was very generous and bought me my first ever bike for my birthday in February. We are now inseparable!

Sadly it isn't as orange as this and Jo and I never got a chance to ride them in Amsterdam..but a picture will do!

Sintra, Portugal - guardian of the sea

This was taken with x12 optical zoom at the max. Thank god my camera shake was electronically stabilised. Sintra, just north of Lisboa is the playground of the portuguese royal family. For us, it was rather cold and full of tourists. Oh, and a woman who wasn't keen to sell us port.

Beef week for the birthday dog

It's Ella's birthday month and it seems only fitting to post an adorable shot of her at her best on the beach... doing the double paw dig.. For the unacquainted, this Springador will be 8 next week although she doesn't show it.

Dying Sunflowers

North Elmham doesn't disappoint.. it thinks it's Provence in the winter with fields of dead sunflowers.
